Development and Modeling of a 3D Image Reconstruction Algorithm for Cone-Beam X-Ray Computed Tomography for Non-Destructive Testing in Additive Manufacturing
摘要
For additive manufacturing of highly reliable and highly expensive metal products for the aerospace and nuclear industries, where there is no room for defects, methods of real-time non-destructive testing are particularly important. Technical characteristics of the product, such as density, dimensions, absence of bubbles and cracks, etc., must be within acceptable limits for micro metallurgy of the working medium in the focal spot of the heating source. One of the methods of this kind of quality control is X-ray computed tomography, which determines the internal structure of the manufactured layers of the product at any point within its volume based on an analysis of tomographic images of these layers. The article presents an algorithm for 3D image reconstruction for cone-beam X-ray computed tomography.
