Import Substitution of UAVs and Economic Efficiency of Their Use for Patrolling Ground Facilities

The aviation industry, including the production of UAVs, has become one of the priority areas of state support aimed at increasing the level of localization of production, so developers and manufacturers are primarily interested in solving such pressing issues as import substitution of critical components and components of UAVs. This article presents a rationale for the economic and managerial efficiency of using domestic unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in civil aviation (on the example of air patrolling of ground facilities, in particular, the linear part of gas pipelines of PJSC Gazprom). The structure and formation of a typical cost model for the operation of a fleet of UAVs when patrolling ground facilities is shown, since it seems necessary to correctly estimate the amount of total costs necessary to carry out the planned volume of overflights of the pipeline route.
