Analysis of Business Models at Russian Oil and Gas Enterprises by an Adapted Running Lean Method

Although oil and gas enterprises have specific technical and regulatory characteristics, the Running Lean concept, based on hypothesis testing and continual adaptation of business models, proves an effective means of optimizing and improving their performance. Adaptation of the Running Lean concept for oil and gas enterprises relies on collaboration with experts who understand their specific circumstances. It is important to track regulatory changes and to take account of relevant geopolitical factors. The present work assesses the prospects for developing business models at Russian oil and gas enterprises on the basis of the Running Lean concept.
