Decreasing the Toxic Emissions of Medium-Speed Diesel Engines by Design Changes and Adjustments
摘要
Abstract
The selection of optimal measures for reducing the environmental impact of diesel engines is considered. The relative variation in the fuel consumption and nitrogen oxide emissions is studied for the 4400‑kW 12FT26.5/31 engine (produced by Kolomensky Zavod). The proposed selection strategy may be used in development tests of new engine designs.
