Analytical Tools to Support Management Decisions

Despite the best efforts of specialists and researchers, economic crises continue to occur, as is evident from mass media, specialized journals, and empirical data. Their impact on economic systems is complex, and the precise relationship between such events and economic conditions is not obvious. A new branch of economics is intended to provide a better understanding of this topic. The present work explores the potential of a new tool that the management of industrial enterprises may use to monitor the conditions associated with crises. The results shed light on the requisites for support of management decision making in an unstable environment.
