Thermal Regime of the Mouth Area of the Mezen and Kuloy Rivers
摘要
Abstract
Based on the data of the state observation network, the seasonal and long-term variability of the thermal regime parameters in the mouth area of the Mezen and Kuloy rivers is described for the first time. Average and typical values of water temperature are given separately for the heads of the mouth area, estuaries, and mouth offing of the rivers. The spatial variability of water temperature and its changes over a tidal cycle are analyzed, in particular, using data of expeditionary studies performed in different years. The heat flow of the Mezen and Kuloy rivers at the mouth area heads is estimated. Long-term trends in water temperature and heat flow in a changing climate are considered.
