Abstract <p>Ozone is one of the most important atmospheric components affecting climate, weather, and ecology. The global system of ozone monitoring operates within the international and national observation systems. The paper considers the most informative and high-precision ground-based methods for measuring atmospheric ozone that have been used for a long time and defines basic requirements for the accuracy, temporal and spatial resolution of measurements of different ozone characteristics in application to various problems.</p>
