Abstract

A mathematical representation of a jet-type electrohydraulic amplifier (EHA) with a deflector is considered. A model of a two-staged EHA with a first stage of jet-tube type and a second stage based on a spool valve is presented. The formation of a nonlinear characteristic of jet amplifiers is considered with a presentation of the formed nonlinear zones of different amplification coefficients when the pressure in the EHA changes. In order to improve the characteristics of the EHA associated with the processes of liquid cavitation in practical circuits, a comparison of control system operation in the model and in the technical EHA facility has been performed. To improve the static and dynamic accuracy of the EHA, an adaptive algorithm has been synthesized for an EHA with nonlinear characteristics caused by difficult-to-formalize cavitation processes in the liquid in the course of temperature changing in a real EHA sample.
