Additional Losses in Structural Elements of Modular Synchronous Machines with Permanent Magnets
摘要
Abstract
The article investigates additional eddy-current losses occurring in massive ferromagnetic clamping elements of the stator in a synchronous machine with permanent magnets and a modular design. Based on numerical modeling using Ansys Maxwell 3D, an analysis was conducted on the influence of frequency and amplitude of magnetic flux density pulsations, as well as the geometric parameters of the clamps, on the losses within them. A comparison of various methods for reducing eddy-current losses in the clamping elements was carried out.
