Mechanical Properties of a Novel Insulating Material for High-Voltage Electrical Machines

Abstract
The service properties of new insulating tapes of LSKV type used as electrical insulation in high-voltage equipment have been considered in the paper. The paper discusses experimental results of the study of mechanical properties of this material, which is a composite containing various types of fillers: mica paper and glass fabric.
