Calculation of CL Filter Parameters for a Network Connected Power Regulator Based on a Current Source Converter

Abstract
This paper considers the operation of a three-phase current source converter (current source inverter) with an output CL filter that regulates the active network power generation (network regulator). The main attention is paid to the analysis of the characteristics of the filter and the converter with pulse-width modulation control, on the basis of which a technique is proposed for determining the parameters of the output filter elements in accordance with the specified requirements. The results of calculating the filter parameters are verified by simulating the device in the SimInTech program.
