Development of a Modular Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motor for a Propeller Drive

Abstract
A modular permanent-magnet synchronous motor for propeller drive is considered. Available solutions are analyzed, requirements for the engine intended for aviation are described, and the main stages of engine design are considered. Special attention is paid to optimizing its design to achieve maximum efficiency and reduce weight.
