Upgrading a Linear Motor with a Short Stem Stroke

Abstract
The results of modernization of a short-stroke linear motor have been presented. A number of design changes aimed at reducing the motor dimensions, simplifying the manufacturing technology, and selecting the most common control system have been suggested. Data that confirm the preservation of the necessary parameters and expanding the possibilities of practical application of the upgraded motor are provided. Further ways to improve the design of the motor have been determined on the basis of the obtained results.
