摘要

Abstract

An autonomous electricity-generation system driven by a primary motor with variable rotational frequency is considered, intended for wind and wave power plants (micro power stations), as well as for power plants with internal combustion engines, the rotational speed of which is regulated in accordance with the consumed electrical power to increase efficiency. The generation system includes a converter system for electrical current and parameters of the generated electricity, allowing for a specified voltage at the load at any rotational speed of the primary motor. The feasibility of using an asynchronous electric machine as a generator is demonstrated. The concept of exciting the rotating field of the stator with a current source at a frequency lower than the rotor rotational frequency by a specified slip amount is applied, along with generating electrical power at the excitation-current frequency. A functional diagram of the electricity-generation system has been developed. A mathematical description of the generator installation is provided, and a simulation model of the asynchronous generator has been developed, with results from computational experiments presented.
