Operation Features of a Secondary Power Supply Source Based on a Serial Resonant Inverter

Abstract
The operation features of a transistor serial half-bridge resonant inverter with one capacitor in a mode of a secondary power supply (SPS) are considered. By using SPS mathematical models, the type and parameters of the external characteristic depending on the quality factor of its power circuit have been established, as well as an interrelation for the ratio between the capacitances of this circuit and the output voltage in an open-circuit mode has been revealed. The results of the studies can be used in the development of SPS for consumers with an uneven energy consumption and current overloads up to a short-circuit mode.
