Promising Power Sources for Multiple-Unit Rolling Stock

Abstract
A variant of modernization for multiple-unit rolling stock under operation through using multifuel energy-storage units for autonomous train running to a certain distance, for utilizing recuperation energy and for reducing hazardous emissions within the city limits is considered. In the case of energy deficiency or an emergency situation, the storage unit should compensate it based on the internal energy reserves of a car.
