Features of Electromagnetic Processes and Force Interactions in Turbogenerators with Reactive Power Consumption
摘要
A three-dimensional model of a turbogenerator is proposed, which allows analyzing its magnetic state in various operating modes, including with reactive power consumption. For this purpose, the Easy-MAG3D software based on spatial integral equations was used, which made it possible, thanks to the use of parallel computing processes, to calculate the magnetic field in a full three-dimensional formulation. Studies of the main negative phenomena that occur in the mode of reactive power consumption and affect the state of the turbo generator, namely, saturation of the stator and rotor cores and an increase in the axial component of magnetic induction in the end zone of the stator, leading to increased losses and increased heating, as well as changes in electromagnetic forces occurring in the frontal parts of the stator winding. Conclusions are drawn about the most significant factors that worsen the working conditions of turbogenerators when consuming reactive power.
