Briquetting of the Coke Fines by Stiff Extrusion
摘要
The paper presents the results of briquetting coke breeze using the stiff extrusion method. The possibility of using briquettes based on coke breeze in blast furnace, ferroalloy and coke production has been studied. The role of the granulometric composition of the material and the influence of the method of grinding coke breeze on the strength and behavior of coke briquettes when an external load is applied is shown. Using a shearing extruder to grinding coke breeze before briquetting leads to an increased role of the visco-plastic behavior of briquettes when a destructive force is applied. An overview of the organic and inorganic binding materials used in such briquetting is given. The results of comparative tests of extruded coke briquettes (brex) and roll briquettes from coke breeze for cold and hot strength in tumble tests are presented.
