Investigation of the Actual Reaction Temperature of Coke with Carbon Dioxide in Determining the Reactivity Index and Strength after the Reaction of CO₂ with Coke

The article examines the actual value of the temperature of the reaction of coke with carbon dioxide in a gaseous medium at an elevated temperature of 1100°C. When processing coke samples with a lump size of 20 mm or more, to determine the coke reactivity index and coke strength after reaction. On installations manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the interstate standard GOST (State Standard) 32248-2013 [1] and the national standard of the Russian Federation GOST (State Standard) R 54250-2023 (ISO 18894:2018) [2], as well as international (foreign) standards, the American Society for Testing and Materials ASTM D5341/D5341M-2019 [3] and the International Organization for ISO 18894-2018 standardization [4]. Proposals aimed at improving standards have been formulated.
