摘要

A method is proposed for assessing the heat of methane desorption from coal on the basis of the temperature change in desorptional induction. The value obtained for the heat of methane desorption is 95 kJ/mol, which is 3–4 times the result obtained by calorimetry. That most likely signifies breakdown of the coal–gas solid solution. The temperature rise in the coal seams into which carbon dioxide is pumped for storage is predicted. A method is proposed for laboratory and shaft experiments on the thermodynamics of desorptional induction.
