Abstract

Single crystals of the topologically nontrivial CaSn2As2 compound are grown by the self-flux method in SnAs. The distribution maps of elements on the crystal surface are obtained, and the molar ratio of the elements is calculated. The structural configuration of the compound is determined in the trigonal syngony in the space group \(R\bar {3}m\) with the cell parameters a = 4.1503(13) Å and c = 26.049(11) Å.
