Abstract <p>We report on synthesis of a polycrystalline high-entropy iron-based superconductor (Na<sub>0.2</sub>K<sub>0.2</sub>Rb<sub>0.2</sub>Sr<sub>0.2</sub>Ba<sub>0.2</sub>)Fe<sub>2</sub>As<sub>2</sub> by mechanical alloying. The phase composition is confirmed by X-ray diffraction. The superconducting transition temperature is found to be 10.8 K, and according to magnetic measurements, only one superconducting phase is present in the sample.</p>

Abstract

We report on synthesis of a polycrystalline high-entropy iron-based superconductor (Na0.2K0.2Rb0.2Sr0.2Ba0.2)Fe2As2 by mechanical alloying. The phase composition is confirmed by X-ray diffraction.
