Ceramic Antifriction Coatings for Bearing Matings of Internal Combustion Engine Turbochargers
摘要
Abstract
The development of new antifriction coatings based on ceramic materials is a promising area in modern mechanical engineering. However, due to a lack of knowledge of the antifriction properties of ceramic compounds and the complexity of their processing, the question of coating composition remains open. This paper examines ceramic materials and a method for producing antifriction coatings based on them. The properties of the selected ceramic materials, the results of scanning electron microscopy, and comparative tribological testing of the antifriction coating and a steel sample paired with BrO10S10 bronze are considered.
