Increasing the Rolling Stability of Thin Strips in the Last Finishing Stands of a Hot Rolling Mill and Transportation along a Runout Roller Table
摘要
Abstract
The use of braking during rolling of the front end of thin strips in the last finishing stands and transportation along the runout roller table to the accelerated strip cooling system in order to prevent the strip from curling and folding is theoretically substantiated. A new speed rate is developed and implemented to reduce take-offs and wrinkling of the front sections of thin strips during rolling in finishing stands and during transportation along the runout roller table.
