Abstract <p>A method for assessing the impact strength of composite materials is proposed. The disadvantage of existing methods for determining impact strength is that when used for materials made by powder metallurgy methods, the result is distorted due to the use of additional devices. The proposed method involves the development of an additional design that modifies the pendulum pile driver in such a way that it allows testing for composite materials of compact size. The values of the obtained impact strength, the microstructure of the samples before and after destruction are given.</p>
