Structural High-Strength Cast Iron with Mixed Spheroidal and Vermicular Graphite
摘要
Abstract
This article provides information on compact graphite cast irons (SGI, CGI, FGI) common in mechanical engineering, their characteristics, disadvantages, production features, and formulates the task of developing structural cast iron with mixed spheroidal and vermicular graphite (SCGI). Taking into ac SGI count the requirements, pilot batches of castings from this cast iron are manufactured, and a set of studies of its structure and properties are carried out. The place of SCGI in the line of graphitized structural cast irons is determined, and its key features and characteristics are identified.
