Abstract <p>Design features of an improved manipulator for supporting a protective refractory pipe attached to a ladle gate collector cup and subjected to vibration during continuous casting of blanks in order to reduce the intensity of fouling of the steel outlet channel and eliminate the need for flushing it with oxygen are described.</p>
