Review of Studies on the Wear Resistance of Rotary Engine Seals
摘要
Abstract
The operation of the Wankel rotary engine is carried out due to the movement of a triangular rotor, on the tops and sides of which there are seals subject to various effects that negatively affect their performance and reduce the engine service life. This article presents a review of studies on the wear resistance of engine rotor radial seals. The disadvantages and effects leading to the failure of the engine rotor seals are considered. In addition, design solutions and possible materials for radial seals are presented.
