Stabilization of Strip Thickness at Nonstationary Stages of Cold Rolling in Multistand Rolling Mill for Shortening End Sections of Metal Strips with Thickness Outside Tolerance Space
摘要
Abstract
This article considers the reduction in strip thickness variations and lengths of sections with thickness outside the tolerance space by controlling the draft of end strip sections at nonstationary stages of the cold rolling on machine stand 1400 at the shop for nongrain-oriented steel (SNGOS) of PAO NLMK. The article also provides comparative data on the thickness and length of end strip sections outside the tolerance space, that are rolled at the existing method of mill setting and adjusting strip thickness according to the developed method.
