Abstract

Taking into account the increasing requirements for the quality and competitiveness of metal products while simultaneously preserving the environment and reducing resource consumption, energy and resource saving issues are relevant. The operational properties of metal products are controlled by the structural and mechanical properties of structural materials. In industry, methods for obtaining finished metal products with high performance properties by using various methods of their surface treatment are widespread. A method for strengthening 12Kh18N10T stainless steel by applying a thin surface coating of a chromium organometallic compound in order to increase their heat resistance is proposed, allowing the replacement of expensive heat-resistant steels with cheaper austenitic steel.
