Development and Implementation of a Mathematical Model for Optimizing the Thermal State of Blast Furnaces as Part of the Automated Process Control System
摘要
As part of the APCS of eight operating blast furnaces of Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK), a mathematical model of a blast furnace (MMBF) was developed and implemented, describing gas-dynamic, heat and mass exchange processes along the entire height of the furnace. The adequacy of MMBF was confirmed in practice by analyzing the operation of blast furnaces in Russia. The recommendations for improving melting control obtained as a result of the research have been implemented in the practice of blast furnaces in the Soviet Union and the CIS with a positive effect. MMBF has been used to determine the optimal thermal state of eight blast furnaces of MMK in real time. The possibility of significantly reducing coke consumption and increasing iron smelting and the service life of furnace masonry was shown.
