Evaluation of Friction Force in Steel Coupling at Nanoscale
摘要
Abstract
The features of the behavior of tribological systems at the nanoscale have been considered. When designing nanotribosystems with steel coupling, the practical equality of actual and nominal contact areas is taken into account, unlike in macrosystems. The dependencies of frictional force on load for different models of contact interaction of solid bodies have been examined. Results of experimental studies on friction using an atomic force microscope are presented, along with an analytical assessment of the dependence of frictional force on normal load.
