Rational Electrical Contact Welding Modes for Perforated Steel Tapes

Abstract
It is shown that the quality (strength) of part renewal by means of perforated steel tape electrical contact welding depends to a considerable extent on the technological modes of the process. A calculation pattern is constructed, a scientific justification has been performed and a method for determining rational welding modes by means of calculation has been developed. The results of theoretical studies are experimentally confirmed. The revealed technological parameters of the renewal modes for parts made of structural and alloy steel having different diameters and different wear levels are presented in the form of tables.
