Evaluation of Prospects of Gravimetric Corrosion Monitoring of Commercial Wells by Placing Witness Specimens in Production Strings

Abstract
A new approach to estimating the corrosion rate and selecting a minimally efficient dosage of corrosion inhibitor is applied in the problem stock (PS) of PAO Kudinov Udmurtneft for improving the low efficiency of inhibitive protection in commercial wells equipped with electric centrifugal pump units and sucker-rod pumping units from corrosion agression PS. Field trials are conducted to evaluate the gravimetric monitoring by witness specimen placement location.
