Problems of Export of Hardware Products under Sanctions and Export Promotion Measures

This article considers the foreign economic activity of the Russian hardware industry with an emphasis on the export. The analysis of statistical data for 2007–2023 on the export and import of steel wire products in physical and monetary terms is carried out. The study identifies key problems for Russia associated with a decrease in exports and an increase in imports of hardware products. Measures to promote the export of hardware products and ensure their competitiveness in world markets are proposed and substantiated, including abolishing of export duties, compensation for export logistics, reimbursement of certification and homologation costs in friendly countries, creation of financial mechanisms and instruments for stable trade, subsidies for logistics for rail transport and container transportation across the territory of Russia.
