Abstract

The results of a lab examination of the influence of the surface of magnetite concentrate from a deposit in the Belgorod oblast’ on the strength and porosity of green pellets are presented. According to the data of the tests conducted at the S.P. Ugarova Department for Metallurgy and Metal Science, considering the output of yield class and humidity, high-quality green pellets of required strength and porosity are provided with a unit concentrate surface of 1540–1800 cm²/g.
