Analysis of the Occurrence of Camber in Hot Rolling of Coiled Steel

Abstract
This article presents the results of a study of the factors of occurrence of camber during hot rolling of coiled steel. Influence of the temperature field nonuniformity along the rolled product’s width and the profile asymmetry on occurrence of defect “camber” on the finished strip is established. Recommendations are given for reduction of this defect.
