Modeling of Cooling of Air Tuyeres of Various Designs of PJSC NLMK Blast Furnaces

Abstract
Results of computational experiments aimed at studying the functioning of the blast furnace air tuyeres cooling system with the analysis of hydrodynamic and heat exchange parameters in the “inner shell–water–outer shell” system are presented. Distribution fields of stagnant zones and zones with increased temperature of the tuyere nose outer part associated with the structure problem areas due to the location of the inlet and outlet water pipes are obtained.
