Study of the Structure and Hardness of Case-Hardened Steel 20 after Electromechanical Surface Hardening
摘要
Abstract
In the paper, the results of studies of the structure and microhardness of cylindrical samples made of steel 20 carburized to a depth of 0.5 mm after their hardening by bulk heat treatment and electromechanical surface hardening have been presented. A comparative analysis of the hardening methods has shown the effectiveness of electromechanical surface hardening. It forms high microhardness values, which is necessary to obtain high-quality cylindrical surfaces of various parts made of carburized steels.
