Research and Selection of Optimal Parameters for Hot Die Forged Cross-Type Forgings by Modeling in the QForm Software Package

Abstract
The technological process of hot die forming of cross-type forgings using computer modeling in the QForm program is developed. The influence of technological parameters on the force parameters and filling of the die cavity is studied. The stress-strain state and temperature fields of the forging, the optimal shape and dimensions of the initial blank, ensuring minimal technological efforts, forging operations, optimal conditions for filling the die cavity and forging cooling conditions are determined. The optimal forging procedure is determined.
