摘要

Abstract

To modernize the drum cooler for returning agglomerate in order to reduce downtime associated with the elimination of emergency situations or the need for technical maintenance, it is proposed to use an improved support roller unit that allows reducing the effect of the overturning force on threaded connections by arranging the support surface of the roller axis perpendicular to the vector of the normal reaction force from the gravity force of the drum. The analysis of the loading conditions of the support roller unit was carried out, its stress-strain state was studied using the finite element method in the SolidWorks software package using the SolidWorks Simulation module. It was found that in the improved design of the support roller unit, the movement of the roller support base relative to the frame is approximately 15 times less compared to the existing one, while the effect of the overturning moment causing tensile stresses in the body of the bolt and nut of the threaded connection of the roller support and the frame is practically absent. Based on the results of the study, a design of the support roller unit is proposed that allows for a significant reduction in the time of emergency downtime and downtime for maintenance of the drum cooler, as well as an increase in the reliability of the sintering machine equipment complex, which will have a positive effect on the stability of the sintering process and the quality of the finished agglomerate.
