Justification of the Selection of Powder Composition to Restore Worn Shaft-Type Parts by Cold Spraying

The paper discusses the procedure for selecting metal powders to restore worn working surfaces of the main and connecting rod journals of truck crankshafts using cold gas-dynamic spraying. Based on the analysis of regulatory documents and previously carried out studies, the main requirements for powders have been determined and analyzed. The result of the performed research is the selection of two most suitable grades of metal powders for spraying in the further research.
