Experimental Evaluation of Moisture Resistance of Polymer Composite Materials Used for Machine Repair

Abstract
The results of corrosion tests of metal parts with through defects, repaired using an epoxy composition containing various types of fillers, are presented. Disperse (aluminum powder and carbon-containing powder) and fibrous (glass and carbon fabrics) materials are used as fillers. It was found that the minimum amount of corrosion damage was found in samples reconstituted using epoxy composition (ED-20 resin and PEPA hardener) with aluminum powder as a filler and reinforced with woven fillers.
