Improving the Design of Cylindrical Gears

This article presents a new design of a cylindrical gear, including the necessary calculations and a comparative analysis with existing chevron-type gears. The results of the study reveal significant advantages, including smooth operation, noiselessness, and durability. To verify the feasibility of using the new design of the gear transmission, a gear and wheel were manufactured using additive technologies.
