Revision of Technical Requirements for Hot-Deformed Pipes with Internal Screw Fins
摘要
Seamless hot-deformed pipes with an internal finned surface are promising for use in modern high-efficiency boiler plants. The presence of spiral fins on the inner surface of the tubes contributes to the occurrence of vortices in the fluid flow, which ultimately leads to the intensification of heat exchange and, consequently, to an increase in energy efficiency. The formation of fins is associated with certain difficulties in the manufacture of pipes and their quality control. Volzhsky Pipe Plant together with the drawing and pressing laboratory of JSC RusNITI (currently TMK Research, LLC) developed a technology for the manufacture of hot-pressed pipes TMK-IRS, and the pilot batches of such pipes were obtained. The continuation of the work required the development of regulatory documentation. Then, based on the analysis of the results of the production of pilot batches of TMK-IRS pipes, directions for improving the technical requirements contained in the current regulatory documentation were proposed. The article compares the geometric parameters of TMK-IRS pipes with the foreign analogue of Mannesmann, produced in a cold state by drawing, so it is advisable to supplement the current regulatory documentation with a new type of pipes.
