Experimental Studies on Drawing Pipes with a Variable Wall Thickness

Abstract
A methodology for verifying simulation results concerning full-scale pipes is considered. The adequacy of theoretical models is proven by means of the fact that a set of parameters coincides with experimental results, which makes it possible to recommend theoretically developed models for use. In addition, in the performed experiments, new scientific results have been obtained, in particular, parameters that allows one to confirm the reliability of the resulting pipes in terms of the plasticity life of the material in critical points. The versatility of the proposed verification method makes it possible to recommend it for a wide range of problems related to the simulation of pressure treatment processes.
