Expanding the Technological Capabilities of a Twin Roll Caster

Abstract
The production of high-quality stainless steel strip and microcrystalline strip of special alloys directly from the melt on twin-roll continuous casters is an important strategic R&D topic in the steel industry. Analysis of the number and nature of published works on this topic in our country and abroad shows that research work is being completed. Experimental twin-roll casters built abroad have been tested in industrial conditions and put into operation.
