Investigation of the Properties of the Welded Junction of a Wire Made of Ti–Ni Alloy

Abstract
Using the example of a welded wire connection made of an alloy Ti–Ni (Ti–55.42% Ni)—nitinol, the shape memory effect is considered. In particular, with the help of nonconsumable electrode welding technology, welded joints of wire with a diameter of 2 mm were produced, the macro- and microstructure of the joints were studied, bending tests were carried out, and the shape memory effect of the obtained welded joints was evaluated.
