Resource-Saving Technology for Rolling Asymmetric Rail Profiles on a Tandem Mill

Abstract
The results concerning the development and implementation of resource-saving technology for rolling asymmetric rails on a tandem mill are presented. All results are given using the example of an asymmetrical profile of a point rail. The developed rolling technology is based on an analysis of the applied method for determining the geometric deformation zone, as well as rational rolling speed conditions in the finishing group of tandem mill stands.
