Improvement of Hot Bulk Stamping of T-Shaped Forgings from OT4-1 Alloy

Abstract
The results of the analysis of the influence of temperature–speed deformation parameters and the shape of the billet on the structure and properties of stamped forgings with a complex configuration from titanium alloy OT4-1 are discussed. The influence of deformation on phase transformation processes and the rate of fatigue crack growth (FCGR) in the material of forgings and finished parts is thoroughly investigated.
